Gonzalo Maestre, drummer, composer and producer. He studied jazz at the School of Creative Music EMC of Madrid, forming part of the Big Band for several years. Later in New York he receives classes from Ari Hoenig and Jimmy Cobb.

He has shared the stage with the most important musicians of the jazz music scene of his generation, as well as accompanying different renowned Spanish artists with whom he has recorded many albums.

Versatile musician, has formed or is part of projects of various kinds. Flamenco, Spanish folk music mixed with jazz (de la Purissima), pop with airs Jazzy (Marlango) or electronic (Najwa Nimri), music of American roots (Julián Maeso, Javi Peña trio) .

In his own project, Tunyi, with Pablo Palacios, mixed contemporary electronic music and jazz and received several awards.

He has played around the world and in numerous international festivals such as the Jazz Festival of Madrid, Barcelona jazz Festival, San Sebastian jazz festival, Manchester jazz festival.

Throughout his career he has complemented his activity as a live musician with teaching. Teaaches private classes and is part of the staff at the Muviic Academy.
